The Tampa Bay PT Cruiser Club is dedicating this page in memory of another friend that passed away June 28, 2005. Jeff Moretti, aka "The Electronics Man", died unexpectedly of unknown causes. Jeff, like Richard (whom we lost in March), was another pioneer in the bay area that began customizing his PT from the day he bought it. Jeff was a regular at the Ronnie Setser Burger King Cruise in for over 10 years with his pick-ups, vans, and his famous PT Cruiser.
Jeff's PT has been featured in several magazine and newspaper articles with the most recent being in the Tampa Tribune last month. Everyone knew Jeff's PT! It was the one that everyone gathered around at all the night events. The numerous television monitors, stereo system and light show was a definite crowd pleaser with young and old alike. I will personally miss seeing Jeff's PT at the night time cruise-ins and shows and will also miss talking to him to see if I can pry out - what's next.
This is a photo of Jeff (sometime in the 60's) when he was lead singer for a group called "The Impalas." They were quite popular around the Milwaukee area and most of Wisconson. If you can't guess, Jeff is the one with the microphone in his hand. This picture was sent to me by Molly, the sister of the band leader, while she was searching for Jeff to see if he would be willing to go home for a band reunion. She was unaware that Jeff had passed away.

These photos are of Jeff's PT from the start of his customization to the present. More photos will be added as soon as I receive them from other members.
